Phonthakorn is a researcher who focuses on applying his background in environmental engineering to the field of sustainable finance. His interest lies in using quantitative analysis to understand the link between corporate sustainability operations and financial performance. Prior to joining Climate Finance Network Thailand, he gained experience researching carbon markets, analyzing ESG-related financial data, and assessing the impact of sustainability factors on investment returns.

Phonthakorn holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental and Sustainable Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for his academic standing. He also co-founded and led a student-led organization at Chulalongkorn University focused on climate action.
