Outreach Coordinator and Researcher

Sorawich is a researcher with expertise in climate-resilient infrastructure planning, techno-economic analysis, and life cycle assessment. His work blends technical and economic analysis to support evidence-based decision-making for Thailand’s climate and energy transition. Before joining Climate Finance Network Thailand, Sorawich conducted research at Carnegie Mellon University on energy systems, electric mobility safety, and industrial decarbonization. His contributions include co-developing near-term decarbonization pathways for the steel sector through the decarbSTEEL model and co-authoring peer-reviewed publications and policy briefs under U.S. Department of Transportation funding. Beyond academia, he has worked through his social enterprise on urban resilience, public-sector engagement, and community-based development projects, collaborating with organizations such as UNESCO, the Creative Economy Agency, and the Bank of Thailand.

Sorawich is a Fulbright Scholar and holds an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Climate-Resilient Environmental Systems and Technologies) from Carnegie Mellon University, where he focused on infrastructure investment and pricing, climate-resilient systems, and life-cycle sustainability assessment. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Chulalongkorn University.
