
🖊️ Job Title: Researcher – Chinese Language
(Preferably Thai Nationality)
🇹🇭 Location: Bangkok, Thailand
💼 Job Type: Full-time (5 working days per week; in-office at least 2 days per week)
🌞 Responsibilities
– Conduct research on topics related to sustainable finance, including climate finance, ESG, and just energy transition.
– Review, analyze, and synthesize Chinese-language materials, reports, and policy documents relevant to sustainability and economic developments.
– Support stakeholder engagement and coordination with Chinese-speaking partners, institutions, and relevant networks.
– Writing articles and sharing knowledge on CFNT’s media.
– Assist in organizing and participating in workshops, seminars, meetings, and events.
– Contribute to research projects, policy analysis, and collaborative initiatives related to regional sustainability and climate finance issues.
⚡ Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, International Relations, Environmental Studies, or a related field (a Master’s degree in the aforementioned fields is a plus).
– At least 2 years of work experience, including internships or work experience during studies.
– Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English required; HSK certification is an advantage.
– Must be residing in Thailand and preferably Thai Nationality.
– Ability to read, analyze, and synthesize Chinese-language materials effectively.
– Good grasp of financial modeling basics (a corporate finance background is a plus).
– Outstanding analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
– Familiarity with China-related policy, market, sustainability, or economic issues. Experience working with Chinese institutions and stakeholders is preferred.
– Flexible, self-reliant, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
– Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– Enjoy working in a small organizational setting.
Please note that this is a hybrid position – we expect you to work in the office at least 2 days per week. Our office is based in Bangkok, Thailand (Phrom Phong area).
